Turning to fall

Finally things warm up to about 70 degrees to greet the yellowing of the trees. Yellow trees mean there isn't too long before the frost comes pounding in. I debate each day if it is time to get plants into the house before the flowering is stopped. :-( Always a sad time for me, though once the snow falls I start feeling better (as long as I'm not driving). Darkness is almost here in the midnight as well. I'll have to reclimatize to that. I get scared of the dark at each return in the fall and have to retrain myself. I have the first week of September off to get things settled down for winter around here. At this rate the frost may have already set in. We got snow that week last year.

It would be hard for me to get used to the dark like that too, but good luck! Will your plants stay happy and pretty indoors over the winter? I guess the blooms are the most fun though. Too bad we don't have reunions in the winter instead of vise versa- the summer is so short for you at home. It probably would be more fun to take a vacation in the winter. Well love ya!

Great idea! Now I can comment. Your place looks so cosy and neat. I'm glad you love flowers. Good luck with the big dark winter. I guess you can enjoy it knowing the summer is not dark. Love you lots.
