So I finally sat down and loaded Blogger on my phone and am astounded how easy it was and just how ridiculous it was to wait so long. For an update, I had a heavenly summer working for a local greenhouse where I do still do some work before being hired back at the telecommunications company that had laid me off, benefits and pay being a strong factor in my acceptance of such less desirable work from what I had previously had the privilege of getting to do. I suppose I've begun showing some age, craving that security in my future. (Strange when you take into account this is the same company that left me out in the rain). I am enjoying and finding prosperity at last.
It has been one long and cold winter this year and I find myself waiting almost impatiently for the spring to arrive, something that is very uncommon for me. Let the sweet dark solitude go, I'm ready to hear the wind in the leaves. I'm planning a purge of stuff which as any who know me know that I get really serious about these purges. I don't really like stuff cluttering me up. Oddly the things I keep are always rocks and sticks, feathers and string, not really the things one would think as worth something. (Of course anything worth anything will be getting donated or placed in our freecycle section of the transfer stations (dumps) a practice very common in this town, reminiscent of island behavior I think). I can't wait for it all to be done acdhope at the end that I have purged deeply enough. I haven't been so pleased with the outcome the last few attempts. That is why this one is so serious.
That is the main scoop. Planning to execute some travel plans to get back to the family that I have been missing, and also some travel plans to visit friends in Switzerland further down the road.
